Quiet, dense scales. Best for dashboards, docs, and interfaces where hierarchy comes from weight and colour more than size.

1.333 — 1.5

The classic editorial range. Clear jumps between levels without feeling dramatic — good default for marketing sites and blogs.

Maximum drama. Use it when you have few levels and lots of whitespace; with many steps it runs away from you quickly.
